Music Videos

Song Fun Fact: This song is a "lost song" of the first album. We had recorded this a long time ago when we were recording for the first album. Although it didn't make the cut for the album, it still turned out great and we had a guest appearance of Billy Peters. Thanks Billy!!

Video Fun Fact: I did this video while on vacation. It was a lot of fun singing on the beach while people walked by haha. Beautiful scenery and weather to go with a very summery song.

This is the first single of Steve Hott's Here for You album. Chris Lord-Alge, Brian Howes and Steve Hott. Producer Brian Howes. Released May 5, 2011. copyright and label by Lord-Alge Productions

Sp!tt covering the song Time of The Season. Originally done by the Zombies, featured on their 1968 album Odessey and Oracle and written by Rod Argent and recorded by Abbey Road Studios in 1967

Song fun fact: we refer to this song as "Tots"

Video fun fact: we had a really hard time with this music video. We weren't sure how to go about it, and what would fit. We ended up deciding to go with "time of the season" in fall colours.
Song Fun Fact: This song was written a million years ago about a dog named Caesar. He was a very important dog to the writers and band members.

Video Fun Fact: We used original video footage of Caesar and also new video footage with our friend Primrose. Thank you Beverley Wood for giving Caesar a day pass to have fun at the recording studio! Thank you very much for helping with our video Primrose and Penny!

Song fun fact: Recorded very old school with analog tape. Had some good times yelling out to each other to reset when someone wasn't happy with their part.

Video fun fact: Thank you to our good friend Ted for inviting us to record at his farm house! It was my first time recording with analog tape and having a dog (Little buddy Cosmo) with me in the control room. Needless to say it was an experience and I have a better understanding and appreciation for the studio scene.

Song originally done by Fleetwood Mac, written by Stevie Nicks in 1975 appearing on their album Fleetwood Mac. Produced by Fleetwood Mac and ‎Keith Olsen
Video Fun Fact: This video was actually inspired by the Foo Fighters with split screen studio recording.

Song Fun Fact: This song was written by our good friend Jimmy Howell many years ago. He asked us to record the song and bring it back to life with our own ideas and creative freedom. I am very honoured that he asked me and the band to do this for him because it is such a great song. Thank you again Jimmy!

Here is a new I Arted - it is an oil painting of a sunset on water.

Paired up is our song called Glass Doll :)
Hey everyone!

This is an original song called "Sick of Pretending." This is also me painting Dory the fish from Finding Nemo. If you enjoy the video please help me get noticed by ellen and share with your friends with #spittonellen

Please let's not literally spit on Ellen though...

This song is a Spitt original! A special thanks goes out to Conductor Reimer for letting us use your trains! :)

Song Fun Fact: I started writing this song about a stealing a car, but it ended up turning into kind of a love song about escaping everyone that stands in your way.

Video Fun Fact: Those trains are actually toy trains from our good friend Conductor Reimer! Couldn't have done it without you!!! Many thanks!!!
This original song has won the Runner Up placement in the Song of the Year contest (2015). Song of the Year receives entries from all over the world and only the top songwriters receive a Runner Up placement in the songwriting competition.

Song Fact: This song can mean a lot of different things to different people. I wrote it more generically about getting out of a relationship that is toxic. And how it is sometime hard to get out and you sometimes just end up back to where you started.

Video Fact: I had to wait for a rainy night to get a "darker" image... unfortunately the rain isn't very clear to see in the video.
Sp!tt is covering the song Babylon by Sheryl Crow. Originally written by Sheryl Crow, Bill Bottrell, Brian Macleod and Eric Schermerhorn. It was released on her album Detours in 2008

Song Fun Fact: Lots of fun during this song, some being recorded in Bert's House of Guitars. And my lovely cousin sang with me in the background vocals.

Video Fun Fact: This is the first music video that was created and edited, although not the first released for viewing.
Original song by Sp!tt. It is a love song :). Hope you all enjoy

Song Fun Fact: I originally wrote this when I was about 16 and I revisited/rewrote it and recorded with the guys this year.

Video Fun Fact: This is the first rehearsal of the band since we recorded all the songs
Just a short introduction of myself! Please let me know if you have any questions about myself, my music/lyrics or have any suggestions for music videos and regular videos. Comment on my blog (News Page) or on youtube!
This song is our little ditty we wrote. Got a little more country with this. Shout out to our Blue Grass Boozers! Thanks for your help!

Song Fun Fact: I was told to write a song about a train... so here it is haha.

Video Fun Fact: We finally have a video that has something to do with our song. We found this train in Fort Erie.

Sp!tt is covering Peter Gabriel's song Here Comes the Flood. This was written by Peter Brian Gabriel in 1977 on his Album Peter Gabriel.

Song Fun Fact (of mine): I recorded this song in one take....because I'm just that good haha just kidding, it was just magic that day.

Video Fun Fact: This is our most "artsy" video thus far.
This is yet another original by Sp!tt. About believing in yourself and taking risks and not caring what others think.  If you believe in it, do it! Because life is too short so you better have fun and love what you are doing!

Song Fun Fact: This is the first original song created in the Sp!tt project.

Video Fun Fact: Everyone came up with their own characters in this and it was just to plain have fun.... and to avoid getting hit by cars on the street....
Another Sp!tt original. This song is a little more emotional and described to have a "pretty" sound. Before we had lyrics to it we simply called it the pretty song.

Song fun fact: While recording I ended up changing words and adding words when I was singing it.

Video fun fact: I was being ATTACKED by MONSTER mosquitoes

This video is for reasons. Please don't try to make sense of what is happening, you will hurt yourself trying.

Song Fun Fact: I wrote this shortly after I was declared Sp!tt

Video Fun Fact: It is combined with many inside jokes and random shananigans.

This is a Sp!tt original, by the title you can probably guess what it is about. It is a pretty whimsy song about childhood and growing up.

Song Fun Fact: It was a pain in rear to complete because of the 3-4 timing but turned into a favourite for sure!

Video Fun Fact: Flying is hard.

We're covering Cyndi Lauper's Time after Time
It was written by Cyndi Lauper and Robert Andrew Hyman. It was originally released in 1983 on Lauper's Album "She's so Unusual"

This cover proved essential to get the Sp!tt project off the ground. I hope you enjoy our rendition of this tune.
